Being in an elementary school, I would love to add a few more picture book lands or places. Any ideas?
How about"The Black Lagoon" or "Miss Nelson's Room"? I know it's not a picture book, but maybe "Wayside School"? I think this is a great idea, I might try it myself this summer!
ReplyDeleteHi~
ReplyDeleteYou could add the big woods & plum creek for the Little House books, but again they are not picture book places! I am going to search the shelves tomorrow to see what I can come up with!! Great idea!! Thank you for sharing all your wonderful ideas & projects!!

Mulberry Street from the wonderful Dr. Seuss!

AWESOME idea! I saw the middle school one, too, and was inspired... but never gave wings to the project. Here are a couple others that come to mind:
ReplyDeleteCastle Dor (Tale of Despereaux)
Bloors Academy (Charlie Bone)
Nomansen Island (Mysterious Benedict Society)
Berkshire Mountains (The Penderwicks)
Briny Beach (A Series of Unfortunate Events - Book 1: The Bad Beginning)
Alagaesia (Eragon)
Decakwoo Drive (Mercy Watson series)
Walnut Knolls Elementary (Allie Finkle)
Santa Martina (Sammy Keyes)
Feel free to use what suits your library!
