Very cute ideas! :) There are many pictures around Pinterest of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" parties. I've never read it, but apparently he eats all sorts of foods. You could set up bowls with each of the things he eats as shown here:

Also, in "Diary of a Wimpy Kid", the children are scared of getting "the cheese touch", which is obtained by touching a stinky piece of sliced cheese on the blacktop. You could dare kids to buck up the courage to eat it, hehe

DeleteThundercake - we used the recipe from the book and made them into cupcakes so it would be easier to give to the kids.
ReplyDeleteAlso Stone Soup - The kids brought in the ingredients and hid them around the room and when I read that part of the story they went and got it and put it in the pot. The upstairs was hating us because of the good smells that went up to their rooms.
